Phat Dat donates for flooded area in Quang Ngai

The historic flood in mid-November caused great damage to the people of the Central provinces. Many hectares of crops, houses and other valuable assets were swept away by the flood. Sympathizing with the difficulties and losses in Quang Ngai, the Management Board of Phat Dat Real Estate Development JSC donated VND 200 million through the Quang Ngai Entrepreneur Club in Ho Chi Minh City. The Quang Ngai Entrepreneur Club organized supporting teams visiting the damaged places and handing donation to flood victims.

In additions, Phat Dat recently continued to be the main sponsor for the Golf Tournament for raising supporting funds to the people affected by flood in Quang Ngai and to share the concerns of the people during the upcoming Tet holiday.

In 2013, despite facing many difficulties due to the impact of the domestic real estate market, Phat Dat still did not forget its community responsibility by actively participating in social and charitable activities. Last year, the company accompanied the program “For Truong Sa students – Step 2”, contributed funds to build a school on Sinh Ton Island (Sinh Ton commune, Truong Sa district, Khanh Hoa province), awarded scholarships to children of soldiers, supported charity of study encouragement, etc. Most recently, in December 2013, Phat Dat supported 1,000 T-shirts for students to participate in the 2014 Spring Volunteer Campaign of HCMC Student Association.

The above gestures have partly expressed Phat Dat’s heart towards the community. As Mr. Nguyen Van Dat – Chairman and CEO of Phat Dat, said: “A successful business is not just about business outcomes, the lives of employees, but also about social responsibility.” That is the value, the guideline that the Board of Directors always pursue.
