Phat Dat pays 2020’s second dividend in shares at 10% ratio

Performing exceeding the set targets, Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corporation (Ticker: PDR) continues to pay the second dividend at 10% in shares for 2020 (every 100 shares will receive 10 additional shares). Accordingly, the total number of shares to be issued is 39.6 million, tapping from the undistributed profit after tax recorded on the company’s consolidated financial statements.

Accordingly, the ex-dividend date is 23rd March 2021, and the record date is 24th March 2021.

This is the second dividend payment in 2020 of PDR. Previously, PDR paid the first dividend at the ratio of 7% in shares (100 shares received 7 additional shares).

2020 is considered a successful year of PDR’s shareholders as the ticker PDR constantly rose and made many breakthroughs. As of 18th March 2021, PDR stock price reached 68,000 VND, increased by 31% compared to VND 51,800 at the beginning of 2021 and 215% compared to VND 21,590 at the beginning of 2020. The market cap reached VND 27,000 billion, approximately USD1.16 billion.

This is the result of PDR’s outstanding performance exceeding business targets. In particular, net revenue reached over 3,911 billion VND (+15% YoY), profit before tax reached over VND 1,540 billion, and profit after tax reached over VND 1,220 billion increased by 39.3% and 39.6% YoY, respectively. By paying the second dividend at 10% in shares, 2020’s accumulated dividend is 17% – a token of recognition for the high commitment and trustworthiness of PDR to shareholders and investors.
