Phat Dat Corporate Culture Conference 2025: “Reshape the Future”

Khanh Hoa – September 13, 2025: As part of its series of activities celebrating its 21st anniversary, Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corporation (PDR) organized the Corporate Culture Conference themed “Reshape the Future.” This event provided an opportunity for the leadership team and all employees to reflect on the Company’s journey while reaffirming their commitment to change and rise to new heights.

 

Determined to change—from mindset to action

In his opening remarks, Chairman Nguyen Van Dat candidly acknowledged that, despite unprecedented opportunities, Phat Dat continues to face many challenges stemming from overall market conditions. He emphasized the urgency of transformation: “If we do not change starting today, all our efforts risk becoming meaningless.”

Chairman Dat called on all employees to uphold their sense of responsibility, work decisively with clear plans and measurable outcomes, and affirmed that every effort and contribution will be duly recognized.

He also highlighted several key competitive advantages that Phat Dat currently possesses, including execution capability, brand reputation, a sizable land bank, and strong financial potential—forming the foundation for the Company to confidently seize growth opportunities in the coming period.

 

Five key areas for breakthrough

Following this, Board Member Le Quang Phuc presented an overview of Phat Dat’s current systems, personnel, and corporate culture within the broader context of the real estate industry. According to Mr. Phuc, there are five core areas that the entire organization must focus on innovating:

  1. Restructuring operational management systems – shifting from task-based management to results-based management, using efficiency as the primary measure.
  2. Strengthening financial capacity and risk control – diversifying capital sources, improving adaptability, and eliminating inefficient investment portfolios.
  3. Applying technology and driving digital transformation – enhancing CRM systems, leveraging data, and integrating AI into all activities.
  4. Building a people-centered corporate culture – promoting fairness, teamwork, and shared responsibility.
  5. Developing and rejuvenating human resources – training, capacity building, improving incentive policies, and preparing a successor team for the next 10 years.

 

Placing people at the center

Continuing the program, CEO Bui Quang Anh Vu stated that Phat Dat is facing both significant challenges and major opportunities. Therefore, the Company must decisively transition from “task-based management” to “results-based management,” while building a fair, humanistic, and people-centered culture, and formulating training policies for successors to achieve strategic objectives.

Mr. Vu emphasized: “Following this conference, our training, compensation, and succession development policies will be reviewed and enhanced to retain talent and attract more high-quality personnel.”

From a human resources perspective, Board Member Tran Trong Gia Vinh highlighted three major trends in today’s labor market: the shortage of high-quality personnel, the need for rapid adaptation to business changes, and the increasingly significant impact of technology on future competency standards.

Mr. Vinh affirmed that Phat Dat has already recognized these trends early and proactively implemented training and human development policies to meet new requirements. He also shared practical insights to help management leverage employees’ strengths, thereby building a PDR team that is ready to innovate and break through.

A highlight of the conference was the open exchange session between the panelists and employees. Comments, questions, and suggestions were raised openly and transparently, reflecting a constructive and progressive spirit.
