PDR LAUNCHED CONFERENCE ON “2019 REAL ESTATE MARKET – INSIDER’S VIEWS”
The conference on “2019 Real Estate Market – Insider’s Views” was held at 15:30 on Friday of 11 January 2019, at HOSE head office, located at No. 16, Vo Van Kiet, District 1, HCMC and organized by VietinBank Securities, PDR and Savills Vietnam.
The conference was chaired by Mr. Bui Quang Anh Vu, Deputy General Director in-charge of Investment from PDR, Mr. Thai Hoang Long, Deputy General Director cum HCMC Branch Director from VietinBank Securities, Mr. Nguyen Nhat Cuong, Analyst cum Deputy Director of Research and Analysis Center from VietinBank Securities and Ms. Vo Thi Khanh Trang, Head of Consultancy Research Department from Savills HCMC offering the investors with the panorama on the 2019 real estate market.
The growth impetus of Vietnam housing market is driven by the golden demographic structure and optimistic economic prospects. HCMC and Hanoi are significantly transformed and comparable to other major cities in the region. While the aapartment market is remarkably leveraged by increased housing demand, while the luxury segment is interested by the high net worth individuals in Vietnam and the region. In the context of increased and diversified financial resources as well as increase in foreign investors coupled with appropriate macro-policies, the real estate market growth seems optimistic. What were such prospects? How will the 2019 real estate market situation develop during the course of the year? Such questions are addressed at the conference on “2019 Real Estate Market – Insider’s Views” – PDR meeting.
The conference was kick started with the very insightful presentation, delivered by Mr. Nguyen Nhat Cuong, Deputy Director of Research Center from VietinBank Securities, regarding the 10-year cycle of the real estate market stock prices and 2019 investment opportunities; the VNINDEX forecast and stock price development of the 2019 real estate market; real estate market development divided across all segments. Mr. Cuong’s forecast of the 2019 real estate industry development will be supported through analysis with aspects such as Supply-demand cycle, capital structure cycle – excessive outstanding loan resulting in pressure on principal repayment, capital efficiency cycle. Especially, his presentation also provides investors with information regarding real estate market stock prices within each segment.
The prospects of the Vietnamese housing market, price development in each segment and which segment “predominates” in 2019 would be unveiled by Ms. Vo Thi Khanh Trang, the Head of Consultancy Research Department from Savills HCMC.
