Phat Dat hands over the Landscape Works at Phan Dinh Phung Indoor Stadium, bringing an “Urban Ecological Forest” into the city center ahead of the Lunar New Year
HCMC, Sunday, January 25, 2026. Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corporation (PDR: HOSE) officially held a handover ceremony for the landscape works at Phan Dinh Phung Indoor Stadium (08 Vo Van Tan, Xuan Hoa Ward) to the People’s Committee of Xuan Hoa Ward for management and public use. The handover ceremony took place successfully at 4:00 PM on the same day.

Completing and handing over the project nearly two weeks ahead of schedule was the result of an accelerated implementation process, high-intensity construction, strict quality control, and the direct involvement of Phat Dat’s leadership. This is considered the company’s strongest effort to accompany Ho Chi Minh City in urban beautification initiatives, promptly delivering a new community space for residents in time for the Lunar New Year celebrations.
“AN ECOLOGICAL FOREST IN THE HEART OF THE CITY” – A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO PUBLIC SPACE
The landscape project at Phan Dinh Phung Indoor Stadium was developed by Phat Dat under the theme “An ecological forest in the heart of the city,” aiming to create a green space that delivers landscape, ecological and mental well-being values for urban residents.

To realize this concept, Phat Dat introduced a multi-layered ecosystem of greenery, including a wide variety of forest and ornamental trees that are highly valuable and well adapted to urban conditions. These include large tree species such as banyan, rosewood, date palm, barringtonia, and pink trumpet tree, combined with landscape plants and flowers such as red-tipped leaves, ornamental prosperity plants, orange jasmine, Wrightia, variegated pandan, gardenia, ferns, philodendron, jasmine, and more. Durable flowering plants capable of blooming year-round were also selected to ensure long-term vitality for the space.
Notably, designated areas for seasonal decorations and Lunar New Year flowers have been incorporated and will continue to be flexibly adjusted to match festive occasions, contributing to a lively and welcoming atmosphere for residents.
AN ART – SPORTS – CREATIVE SPACE FOR THE COMMUNITY
Beyond greenery, the project is organized into multiple thematic landscape zones with symbolic and emotional value, featuring square areas such as “A Strong Vietnam,” “The Rising Era,” “Happy Family,” and “Youth.” Decorative works, art arrangements, and graffiti artworks are integrated accordingly, creating a space that is both modern and highly interactive.

At the same time, Phat Dat has invested in sports and fitness facilities to meet residents’ needs for physical activity and health improvement. The company said it would continue refining amenities based on feedback from local residents.
With this approach, the landscape space at Phan Dinh Phung Indoor Stadium is expected to become a multifunctional community hub for recreation, relaxation, exercise, social interaction, and creativity—especially for young people and students from nearby schools in the central area.
RAPID EXECUTION – A TESTAMENT TO DELIVERY CAPABILITY
The landscape works at Phan Dinh Phung Indoor Stadium is among nine sites selected by the HCMC People’s Committee for review and temporary conversion into parks and flower gardens while awaiting further investment decisions, located in central wards of former District 1 and District 3.
After receiving the directive, Phat Dat proactively moved forward at maximum speed, organizing round-the-clock construction, mobilizing substantial resources, and maintaining strict control over every work item. Under the original plan, the project was scheduled from January 8, 2026 to February 8, 2026. Completing and handing over the project on January 25, 2026—nearly two weeks ahead of schedule—demonstrates the company’s determination, organizational capability, and strong delivery capacity.
PARTNERING WITH HCMC FOR A LIVABLE URBAN ENVIRONMENT

The early handover and commissioning of the landscape project at Phan Dinh Phung Indoor Stadium not only marks the completion of a specific project but also clearly reflects Phat Dat’s commitment to sustainable development—where corporate growth is aligned with community benefits and the broader urban development goals of Ho Chi Minh City.

Through concrete, measurable actions reflected in both progress and usability, Phat Dat reaffirms its long-term commitment to partnering with the HCMC authorities to enhance quality of life and create a more humane urban environment—where development is measured not only by investment scale but also by the value it brings to people’s lives and well-being.
